Resources, Education, Advocacy and Collaboration for Health

History

The CPPSN program was started in 1990 as the perinatal network program of the City of Syracuse Women's Commission.  In 1996, it incorporated as an independent not-for-profit organization called Family Ties Network, Inc. In 2004, Family Ties Network and CNYCAP (the Central New York Council on Adolescent Pregnancy, Inc.) merged. In 2007, we took the new name of REACH CNY (Resources, Education, Advocacy, Collaboration for Health in Central New York) to represent our newly merged organization.

Who We Are: REACH CNY is one of the 18 New York State Perinatal Networks originally developed with funding from the New York State Department of Health. These Networks strive to make positive change in health outcomes for women, infants and families. The program serves a four county region consisting of Cayuga, Madison, Onondaga and Oswego Counties.
